The CC45+ Grey Team won the 2011 Fall Season Play-off's on Thursday night at the Cape Coral Sports Complex.
They started the night by building a 13-4 lead over Southern Trust Auto in the semi-finals. They then had to hold off a big rally by Southern to win 14-11.
In the finals they beat Piney Road Automotive (who knocked regular season champs Fuller/Metz out of the play-offs in their semi-final) with a 13-12 win.
They won the final in dramatic fashion. They went into the 7th inning tied 12-12 and held Piney to 0 runs. In the bottom of the seventh Sante Cacciola led off with a triple and then was driven home on a single by Len Elliot for the win.
